Springfield, Illinois – Springfield Police responded to the 2200 block of S 13th St., today, around 8:38 p.m., for multiple shots fired calls.
Around the same time a male victim showed up to HSHS St. John’s Hospital with a gunshot wound to the face.
A black Jeep, which had bullet holes in it and a back window shot out, dropped the victim off to St. John’s Hospital. Police were able to locate the vehicle in Douglas park.
The two occupants inside the vehicle were questioned by police and told police that they were sitting in the vehicle when it was shot up.
The male victims injuries are considered as non life threatening.
